Success at Lindfield Arts Festival!

JK Achievements at the Lindfield Arts Festival

The action packed weekend kicked off on Saturday 11th May with a Season's Showcase performance by JK Theatre Arts. A post show workshop 'A Stage for all Seasons' explored the ideas of this theme through improvisation, creative play and dramatic expression.
The audience enjoyed tea and cake delights whilst taking watching the showcase in the Great Walstead Chapel. All workshop attendees received a FREE Goodie Bag!

Later on that day in the Festival Village, Daydreamer Alice longed to find her own wonderland...but a little girl should be careful what she wishes for! Soon Alice is lost in a topsy-turvy world of talking rabbits and cats with very charming grins. Can she keep her head when the Queen has other plans, and will she find her way back home?

The exciting new production, inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic story, brings together pupils from Lindfield Primary School and Great Walstead School with professional theatre-makers. Commissioned by Lindfield Arts Festival, Directed by Kim Wright from JK Theatre Arts it was magical family entertainment for a bright and sunny day. Produced by Robin Belfield at Limepalm Productions. www.limepalmproductions.co.uk

And... if that wasn't enough JK came back to provide further workshop opportunities on Sunday 12th May with 'Charlie'-Childrens drama workshop & performance.

Young people aged 6-16 years explored their creative imaginations in the 'Dahlicious' drama workshop that followed an excerpt from the much- loved Roald Dahl story 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.
